My wife and I bought this as our first gag some time ago, and it does the job perfectly.

Tasteless, and not too big, my wife’s managed to keep me silenced whilst bound for 2 hours before. It fills the mouth quite well while not overstressing the jaw.

The only downside is perhaps it’s appearance. I can only liken it to a baby’s dummy, so for the other person it’s not much of a turn on to see, compared to a ball gag for instance. For the wearer, however, it’s wonderful! Breathing isn’t much of a problem which helps, but speaking really is. And drooling is not optional

The straps could be a little too long for people with smaller heads – the two velcro areas might not quite overlap, meaning you can’t fasten it tightly (if that’s how you want it).

Very easy to clean, I really can’t fault this gag. If you’re worried that a ball gag might be too big, this is an excellent starting point! 

 

The size is very managable – ideal for a mouth that can’t stretch to a large ball gag or tires too quickly – and enough to stop unwanted talking. It doesn’t taste too nasty either!

On the downside, I can push it out with my tongue with a little effort, regardless of how tightly the strap is fastened, something which could perhaps be solved by widening the front-plate/base (which’d also make it look more attractive when worn). Considering this, I’d say it’s perhaps not suited to those who are beginners in the sense that they’re not used to large gags but still want something serious that can’t be spat out when they want to beg!

Other than that, it’s a good quality and unintimidating gag that does its job fairly well.
